Debra is an artist and teacher who paints in oils and pastels. She is inspired by the landscape and particularly loves coastal scenes. Trying to capture the atmosphere and mystery of a scene is her goal and painting en plein air is her favorite way of recording what she wants to portray in her paintings. Debra shares her vision and emotions through her oil and pastel paintings.

"Shallows" 24x30 oil on linen
I am thrilled to share that my painting "Shallows" was awarded 3rd Place Overall in the October/November Competition of PleinAir Salon. I have already posted the painting in my blog, but here it is again.
